Associate Professor Mizutani delivered a lecture at the UTmobI Forum (University of Tokyo Mobility Innovation Collaborative Research Organization) on February 22, 2026, at the University of Tokyo’s Kashiwa Campus Station Front Satellite Office.

The University of Tokyo Mobility Innovation Collaborative Research Organization (UTmobI) is a research organization that brings together eight university departments to conduct innovative mobility research, with a focus on autonomous driving. Operating primarily on the Kashiwa Campus, UTmobI promotes basic research into innovation design, big data analysis, and human machine interfaces (HMI), and promotes the systematization and local implementation of knowledge that contributes to mobility innovation through academic collaboration and fusion.
This year, specified autonomous driving (Level 4 autonomous driving) began in the Kashiwa-no-ha district. This forum will introduce the latest research activities by UTmobI members primarily involved in autonomous driving development.
東京大学モビリティ・イノベーション連携研究機構 （UTmobI） は、学内の8部局が連携し、自動運転を中心とした革新的なモビリティ研究を行う研究組織です。柏キャンパスを主なフィールドとして活動し、イノベーションのデザイン・ビッグデータ解析・ヒューマンインタフェース（HMI）の基礎研究を推進し、学の連携・融合によるモビリティ・イノベーションに資する知の体系化と地域社会実装を推進しています。
今年度は、柏の葉地区で特定自動運行（レベル4自動運転）が開始されました。フォーラムでは、主に自動運転開発に関わったUTmobIに所属するメンバーによる最新の研究活動をご紹介します。
