Muneeb ASHRAF has joined the Mizutani Laboratory as a Master’s student. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with Honours from the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore, Pakistan, in August 2023. His bachelor’s thesis focused on the condition assessment of bridges using sensing technology. He subsequently worked as a Structural Engineer at NESPAK Pakistan, where he contributed to the design and rehabilitation of hazardous dams in Saudi Arabia and the seismic retrofitting of earthquake-damaged health facilities. At the Mizutani Laboratory, he will conduct research on tackling the aging of infrastructure using the cutting-edge sensing technology.
